HISTORY OF HINDUISM FAITH:
WHO: While most major religions come from new ideas taught by a leader, Hinduism is simply the religion of most people of India and came from there four main scriptures called Vedas.
WHERE: Hinduism first began in India about 4,000 years ago in 1,500 B.C.
STATS:There are about 950 million people following this religion today and is the 3rd largest.
LOCATION: Hindus practice their religion in a mandir. MANDIR: a church or temple Sripuram Golden Temple ,Birla Mandir, Angkor Wat are three examples of mandirs in India.
DUTIES: Going to temple is just a small part of being hindu. The real part is fulfilling there duties and engaging in righteous action.

- The Rigveda, containing hymns to be recited by the presiding priest;
- The Yajurveda, containing formulas to be recited by the assistant priest;
- The Samaveda containing formulas to be sung by the priest that chants;
- The Atharveveda, a collection of spells and incantations, apotropaic charms and speculative hymns.
